Future Developments
Scaent Europower is part of the trading division of the Scaent Group and began its operations by trading electricity in the Nordic energy market, although with the clear objective to trade in other European energy markets after the first 24 months of operations. Scaent Europower started its commercial activity using Scaent's current Power Purchase Agreements in Finland and at present delivers 70 MW to Finland and 30 MW to Norway. This enables immediate physical trading of the delivered power with the potential of financial hedging to help secure future profits.
